These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of www.crate.com (the "Site") and of CRATE's text messaging program, CRATE Assistant Messages, described in Section 2. The Site and the program are operated by CRATE Mind Inc. ("CRATE", "we", "us" and "our"). By using the Site or enrolling in the program, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
The Site and its content, including text, images, the CRATE name and logos, are owned by CRATE or its licensors and are provided for your information. You may view and share the Site for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute its content for commercial purposes without our written permission, or use the Site in a way that interferes with its operation or with other people's use of it.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRATE makes no warranties about the Site and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of it.
What the program is. CRATE Assistant Messages lets people who work with CRATE send text messages to CRATE's AI assistants and receive their replies. Messages you receive are replies to your own requests, and notices you asked for, such as a message that a piece of work you requested is ready. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through the program.
Replies are written by AI. The replies you receive are written by CRATE's AI assistants, not by a person. CRATE staff may review messages to provide support and to keep the program safe.
How you enroll. Enrollment is by invitation. You enroll by giving CRATE your own mobile number and asking to be enrolled, in person, by email, or in CRATE's team workspace. We confirm your enrollment by text. Only enrolled numbers receive replies; messages from other numbers are not answered. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies. Most messages you receive are replies to messages you send.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
Opting out. You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that. To rejoin, reply START or ask us to re-enroll you.
Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@crate.com.
Please don't send sensitive information. Text messages are not a secure channel. Do not send passwords, account or payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or health information by text.
Delivery. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may change or end the program at any time.
Your privacy. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive text messages with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the information collected through the program.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new revision date, and for the text messaging program, we will let enrolled participants know by text.
