PUNCH

Crochet (kro-SHEY): A hook, a punch thrown so that the fist loops out and then back in.

Glissé
(glee-SEY):
A direct or croisé thrown as a counterattack to a fouétté figure. It is triggered by the opponent's foot making contact with the fighter's glove.

Uppercut
(ooper-coot): A punch targeting the opponent's chin, thrown with the lead arm so that the first comes up from the puncher's hip. The hip and lead leg are rotated inward at the same time the punch is thrown.
