KICKS

Chassé Frontal (sha-SEY lah-tey-RAHL): A chassé, targeted at any of the three major areas, which is thrown straight forward, so that the toe points upwards.

Chassé Italien
(sha-SEY ee-tal-YEHN): A chassé aimed at the opponent's inner thigh, with the toe pointed at the opponent's groin. Contrast the chassé bas lateral, which targets the front of the thigh.


Chassé Lateral (sha-SEY lah-tey-RAHL): A chassé, targeted at any of the three major areas, which is thrown with the leg turned sideways so that the foot is horizontal.

Chassé Tournant (sha-SEY tour-NONH): A spinning chassé. Further definition to come.

Coup de Pied Bas
(koo duh pyey BA): A sliding kick, usually targeting the upper foot or shin of the opponent's leg.
